* The weekly stipend will be $250 as of April 1st 2010.

** Fees listed are annual fees and include program fees for ProAuPair, LLC and Expert AuPair. At time of match, $4,350 is due. At time of visa application, or latest 30 days before the Au Pair arrives at your home, the remainder is due. (Read more about what program fees include here)   Please note: Fees do not include a $350 non-refundable application fee and a non-refundable domestic transfere fee. Fee also do not include the educational allowance required of Host Families: $500 for Regular and Professional Programs or $1,000 for EduCare Program.                                       

*** The minimum weekly stipend is established by the United States government based on a formula which calculates the federal minimum wage less an allowance for room and board. The stipend for the Regular Au Pair Program and for the EduCare program are based on the current minimum wage. The weekly stipend for the Professional Au Pair program is stipulated by ProAuPair. As federal minimum wage law changes, weekly stipends will change.

Additional Costs to Consider

Host Families are expected to comply with ProAuPair's program terms, which includes paying for

• Room and board for the Au Pair,
• Weekly stipend paid to the au pair (see chart above),
• Domestic transfer fee from the training location in St. Petersburg, Florida, to your home airport,
• Car insurance for the Au Pair,
• Car insurance for the Au Pair, or allowance for public transportation if not providing use of car

• Educational allowance for tuition and course materials, and
• Other costs that may be associated with making the Au Pair feel like a member of your family.

Extension program fee:

Your program with your current Au Pair can be extended by 6, 9, or 12 months. Extension fees are calculated pro rata based on current annual program fees. Please contact us for details. (contact us)
